How to Install a stack Upside Down (Front-Facing Power Cable Routing)
If the flight controller needs to be installed in reverse as shown in the diagram

version 4.3 and above
- First, it's worth mentioning that starting from version 4.3, the motor order can be adjusted within Betaflight, along with the actual motor rotation direction. This makes inverted installation more convenient.
- The most straightforward way to achieve front-facing power supply is to change the firmware configuration (only supported on firmware versions 4.3 and later). Simply install the flight controller in the reverse direction, as shown in the image above, and then proceed to the configurator.
- The direction of the gyro will be reversed. To correct this, enter the "Configuration" tab and make the changes as shown in the following image.
- If the motor order is incorrect, go to the "Motors" tab in Betaflight.
Finally, for safety, please remove the propellers and check if the motor order and rotation direction are consistent with the diagram in the "Motors" tab. Once this is confirmed, the changes are complete. (Reminder: The above tutorial only applies to firmware versions 4.3 and later. Version 4.2.X does not have this feature. Below is the method for modifying firmware 4.2.X.)
Front-Facing Power Supply Settings for Firmware 4.2.X
Note: If you enter the motor direction tab, the motor direction will reset to default. If you had previously adjusted the motor direction, it will revert to the original state. Therefore, it is recommended to check the motor direction again after entering this tab.
First, change the direction of the gyro as shown in the image below. Then, go back to the "Configuration" tab and check if the gyro orientation is correct.

You can use tweezers to gently lift the terminals between the flight controller and the ESC to change the order of motor pins 1, 2, 3, and 4 as needed.
Alternatively, you can remap the motor outputs using CLI commands, which is especially useful for both AIO (All-In-One) boards and stack.
